Julia Fiona Roberts born to Betty Lou Bredemus (mother) and Walter Grady Roberts on October 28th in 1967. Roberts is from the fourth generation of Roberts family who lived in Atlanta. This began with her great grandfather John Pendleton Roberts who was a farm. Her father's passion for theatre was inherited by her. in theater from a young age. When he was an undergraduate at Emory University, he performed in several productions in Atlanta. While stationed at Biloxi in Mississippi, he was inducted into the airforce in the year 1953. Betty Lou Bredemus was part of the show as well. The couple got married in 2005 and they had their first baby, Eric Anthony in 1956. Walter was a student at Tulane University at New Orleans, Louisiana in 1957 after they had separated from the US Air Force. Walter became a member of Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio at the time they moved their family from Atlanta to Decatur in Georgia in 1960. Walter and Betty Lou started production in 1964 for the children's local Saturday morning television program Bum Bum and His Buddies that they self-funded. They also established the six-year Actors and Writers Workshop later in the year. The couple had another two children, Lelisa Billingsley (1965) (also named Lisa) and Julia Billingsley (1967) (also know by the same name Julie).
